Few considerations on puppy housetraining
If your pup is a breed that remains small for life, you might consider using a litter box for her as an indoor potty spot. This can be either a temporary or a permanent arrangement, depending on your needs. When choosing a litter box, get one with sides low enough that your pup can easily hop in and out and large enough that wastes will end up inside the box and not on the floor next to it. Litter that’s made of extruded pellets usually works better for dogs than the sand or gravel type made for cats, because it doesn’t stick to paws and get tracked out of the box.

Being the owner of a cat can be a very rewarding experience
and many cat owners have great, loving relationships with their cats. Others don’t have it so easy. Cats are independent and stubborn creatures
and often aren’t willing to comply with the rules of the house, and this can
cause many problems between the cat and his owner. Training a cat doesn’t have to be a difficult
task and if successful, will give you the loving relationship you wish to have
with your cat.

While your cat litter box problem may be caused by more than one issue, there are two main categories. If you’ve read over my article on the physical causes of this issue, then you already know that this problem is either behavioral, or physical.
Since your cat can’t tell you what’s going on, you have to rule out each possible cause, until you are left with the most logical answer. This is known as a diagnosis of exclusion.
In this case, it is always best to use caution and assume that your cat has a physical problem, unless your vet says otherwise. So, the first step is to have a consultation with your vet.
